If you’ve ever applied a premium wax, sealant, or coating and noticed strong water spotting afterwards, you’re not alone.

In fact, extremely hydrophobic protection can sometimes make water spots appear MORE noticeable under certain conditions — especially on black vehicles and horizontal panels exposed to sun.

That sounds backwards at first.

After all, aren’t hydrophobic products supposed to protect against water?
