Bilt Hamber Double Speed-Wax 250ml – Award-Winning Carnauba Paste Wax

Ultra-durable, easy-to-use paste wax. Double Speed-Wax is an ultra-durable, easy-to-use paste wax with a medium-hard film. The carnauba wax used provides a deep, rich, glossy, highly water repellent and detergent resistant film. It is an economic and superior alternative to costly paste waxes, which simply do not compete performance-wise with this material. Microfibre cloth and applicator pad included.

Prepare the paint first. Double Speed-Wax is not an abrasive polish – if your paintwork is faded, feels rough or has not been polished for a long period, use Cleanser-Polish and/or Auto-Clay before application. For the deepest prep, first remove iron contamination with Korrosol Fallout Remover, then prime the surface with Cleanser-Fluid for maximum wax adhesion and longevity. Once prepared this way, regular application of Double Speed-Wax will maintain a high-gloss finish without the need for further abrasive polishes.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry. Thoroughly wash the vehicle with hot soapy water using only a salt-free automotive shampoo such as Auto-Wash – do not use wash and wax products. Dry using a chamois leather or synthetic equivalent.
2. Prepare the applicator. Work on shaded, cool panels. Dampen the sponge applicator provided and wring out as much water as possible.
3. Apply sparingly. Apply in light circular motions, extremely sparingly, and allow to dull for approx. 5–10 minutes.
4. Buff. Buff to a high shine using the microfibre cloth provided, turning it frequently.

Pro tip: occasionally, in humid conditions, the film may bloom after application and buffing. This is a characteristic of the T1 carnauba wax used – the bloom disappears once the film is fully cured, or can be removed immediately with a wipe-down using a slightly damp buffing cloth. Maintain the wax between washes with Auto-QD Quick Detailing Spray.

Care: both the applicator pad and microfibre cloth can be washed for reuse – do not use fabric conditioner. Store the applicator pad away from direct sunlight. Spares available: App Soft Pad and Large Microfibre Buffing Cloth.
