Ultra Cut Wool Pad 150 x 170 mm – Hybrid Wool Cutting Pad

Maximum cutting power from wool. A cutting pad made of high-quality wool. Its structure is 50% natural wool and 50% synthetic. The combination of these two fibres eliminates clogging of the pad and ensures its structure is maintained for a long time. High cutting power comes from the 50% natural wool, while the 50% synthetic fibre gives 40% less matte effect during cutting.

Smoother, cooler operation. The top of the pad is orange rubber, which minimises vibration during work. The hole in the middle gives better cooling during work and also makes it easier to centre the pad evenly on the backing plate – our Flexible Backing Plates are a good match. After heavy wool cutting, refine the finish with a foam pad such as the Orange Medium Hard Pad and finish with the Red Soft Pad.

How to Use

1. Centre the pad on your Velcro backing plate using the middle hole.
2. Apply a cutting compound to the wool.
3. Cut one section at a time, then refine with a foam polishing pad.

Pro tip: brush out the wool fibres regularly during work to keep the cut consistent.
