Buflex KOVAX Sandpaper Sheets 170x130 MM

KOVAX Super Buflex Dry Sanding Sheets 170×130mm – K-2000 and K-3000 Final Sanding Before Polishing

Dry final sanding for flat panels. The KOVAX Super Buflex sheet brings the same innovative dry final-sanding performance as the disc range to hand sanding and flat panel work. Sized at 170×130mm for use with the KOVAX Dry Hand Pad, these sheets deliver a polish-ready surface without a drop of water – ideal for clear coat levelling and pre-polish preparation on larger flat areas. Suitable for high solid and hard paints, fluorine clear, anti-scratch clear and waterborne paint.

Shallow, uniform scratch – less polishing. Super Buflex leaves an extremely uniform and shallow scratch pattern, so compound polishing time can be largely reduced and the risk of rework drops sharply. It also lets you polish without eliminating the original paint texture.

Who uses Super Buflex sheets? Spray painters finishing bonnet, roof and door panels by hand before polishing, detailers who prefer hand sanding for flat panels, refinishers replacing wet sanding on large flat surfaces, and anyone using the KOVAX dry hand pad system. For machine work, choose Super Buflex Discs.

How to Use

1. Attach the sheet to the KOVAX Dry Hand Pad.
2. Choose your grit. K-2000 (green) for levelling clear coat and removing finer sanding marks; K-3000 (black) for the final refinement before polishing.
3. Sand dry with light, even strokes across the panel.
4. Wipe and polish to a high gloss.

Pro tip: keep the hand pad flat on the panel for the most even scratch pattern.
