Tolecut KOVAX Sandpaper Sheets 70x114mm Imperfection Removal NZ

KOVAX Tolecut Sheets 70×114mm – Dry Paint Defect and Dust Nib Removal

The most advanced dry imperfection removal system. KOVAX Tolecut combines aggressiveness and uniformity for removing paint imperfections. Dust nibs of varied size are eliminated faster and more easily, leaving an extremely uniform and shallow scratch. It is suitable for waterborne paint and high solid clear.

Compact size for tight areas. The 70×114mm sheet is sized for hand sanding where larger sheets can't reach – door edges, bumper curves, panel gaps and tight bodywork details. Use it with the Foam Sanding Block or Assilex Soft Hand Pad for the best control.

Which grit?

• K-800 (yellow) – larger dust nibs and paint runs
• K-1200 (orange) – general defect removal in clear coat
• K-1500 (pink) – fine defect removal, pre-polish refinement
• K-2000 (green) – ultra-fine spot correction before polishing
• K-3000 (black) – final micro-finishing of isolated defects

Who uses Tolecut 70×114mm? Spray painters working on panel edges, bumpers and curves, detailers correcting defects in areas too tight for discs, and refinishers who need precise spot correction. For smaller pieces, choose Tolecut 8-Cut.

How to Use

1. Attach the sheet to a foam block or hand pad.
2. Sand the defect, dry, with controlled pressure until it is level.
3. Refine with a finer Tolecut grit if needed.
4. Polish the area to restore gloss.

Pro tip: start with the finest grit that removes the defect – less sanding means less polishing.
