The most advanced dry top coat sanding system. KOVAX Tolex is a dry sanding system used for top coat sanding. Its well-balanced aggressiveness produces a very fine and uniform sanding scratch, so you can polish the paint without eliminating its texture and sharply decrease the risk of rework.

Find and remove imperfections. Combined with a hard pad, Tolex can also be used to search out and remove imperfections without leaving deep scratches. It is the step between Super Assilex and Super Buflex in the KOVAX dry finishing system – no water needed.

How to Use

1. Attach the disc to your DA sander backing pad.
2. Sand dry with light, even pressure, keeping the pad flat.
3. Refine with Super Buflex K-2000 or K-3000 if needed.
4. Polish to a high gloss.

Pro tip: use a hard pad when hunting individual imperfections, and a soft pad on curved panels.
