Tolex KOVAX Sandpaper Sheets Top Coat 170x130 MM

KOVAX Tolex Dry Sanding Sheets 170×130mm – K-1500 Top Coat Sanding

The most advanced dry top coat sanding system. KOVAX Tolex is a dry sanding system used for top coat sanding, here in a 170×130mm sheet for hand work. Its well-balanced aggressiveness produces a very fine and uniform sanding scratch, so you can polish the paint without eliminating its texture and sharply decrease the risk of rework.

Replaces wet sanding. Tolex gives a fine, consistent scratch pattern dry, making post-sanding polishing faster and easier. Use it with the KOVAX Dry Hand Pad on bonnets, roofs and door panels. It sits between Super Assilex and Super Buflex in the KOVAX dry finishing system.

Who uses Tolex sheets? Spray painters finishing fresh clear coat by hand before machine polishing, detailers working on show-quality finishes, refinishers wanting a cleaner alternative to wet sanding flat panels, and body shops upgrading their finishing process. For machine work, choose Tolex Discs.

How to Use

1. Attach the sheet to the KOVAX Dry Hand Pad.
2. Sand dry with even strokes, keeping the pad flat on the panel.
3. Refine with Super Buflex sheets if needed.
4. Polish to a high gloss.

Pro tip: work in overlapping passes for an even scratch across the whole panel.
